Need to purchase a Socket scanner with this handheld.
We recommend using a Socket Scanner CFSC 5E at a minimum
The slot is ruggedized which lessens the chance of the scanner breaking the device.

Other Handhelds

Depending on the customers environment, a more ruggedized or weatherized handheld may be necessary. If the customer will be using the handheld to read bar codes frequently all day, a pistol-grip handheld would be advantageous. Again, the key to a handheld being compatible with our software solutions are the Operating Systems listed at the beginning of this document. The more ruggedized handhelds are the Symbol PPT 8800 or MC 9000 series, or the Intermec CN 30.
