New West Technologies’ Mobile Suite and Mobile POS Achieves Motorola SymbolPLUS Validation
Portland, OR – September 6, 2007 – New West Technologies announced its Mobile Suite and Mobile POS v4.4 successfully achieved SymbolPLUS validation through completing Motorola’s Solution Validation Program that includes joint testing at the Motorola Solution Center located in Holtsville, New York. Mobile Suite and Mobile POS was granted the SymbolPLUS Validated™ Software designation that will help assure customers and partners of system interoperability between Motorola devices and New West solutions.
Mobile Suite and Mobile POS provides data management to increase knowledge and business advantage, maximize productivity and increase efficiency. Mobile Suite includes Mobile Cashier, Mobile Inventory Count, Mobile Purchase Order, Mobile Work Order, Mobile Transfer, Mobile Label Printing and Mobile Item Manager.
Mobile Suite integrates with and adds essential functionality to Microsoft Dynamics POS products, providing retailers a fully mobile retail operation, including real-time inventory management and real-time card processing, cash, check, and on account transactions. In addition, Mobile Suite provides offline mode, mobile point of sale terminal, real-time credit card processing, real-time wireless and/or store and forward batch mode, compatible with Dynamics POS products, simple, intuitive, virtually training-less, proven security structure, enhanced on-line help.

Motorola’s Solutions Validation Program enables partners to test and validate their mobility solutions on Motorola products to help ensure interoperability and meet the customer application-specific needs, as well as reduce both the risk level and the time to deployment for the customer. Working closely with the Motorola Solution Center engineering team, Mobile Suite Pro has been tested and co-validated on select products, including the MC50 Enterprise Digital Assistant (EDA).
